Wikis are a 21st learning tool because it is a great way to communicate and collaborate with others.  Whether it be with students or other colleagues, the ability to contribute and communicate through this tool is more effective than emailing one another.  Everything is organized and stored in one location and able to be accessed from anywhere.  The flexibility is a wonderful way to reach many people....even people/students/teachers NOT in our school district, city, or country!
